Who I Am
About
Marisa A. Uribe is a vocalist who is currently attending Azusa Pacific University. She is working toward her Bachelor of Music degree in Music Business along with a minor in Marketing. After a vigorous and competitive audition process, she received the prestigious award of Dean’s scholarship from the College of The Arts in order to attend this university. She has been receiving vocal lessons for six years and is currently studying under world renowned and grammy nominated opera singer Angela Maria Blasi. She has performed difficult classical solo repertoire around the world in locations such as Vatican City, Rome, Seattle, and San Fransisco. These solo performances include awards for outstanding solo voice performances. In addition, she has been hand selected to participate in the ACDA Honor Choir, SCVA Honor Choir, and Western Regional Honor Choir which are all among some of the top choirs within all of California. Marisa Is well versed in singing at events and functions such as weddings, birthday parties, church functions, and funerals. Along with these qualifications she teaches voice lessons to those who are looking to expand their technique and knowledge of the voice.
